Sometimes you just feel like a boy or a girl at night, and the question arises of how to choose a\u00a0good movie<\/a>\u00a0to watch.\u00a0My friend Sam always tells us that a group of three shouldn\u2019t go to a DVD rental shop at the same time, because you\u2019ll be there for hours and never really decide which movie to rent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we select movies, we never look for the latest releases, because you pay a premium price for movies that are new to the DVD shelf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you always choose movies that have been around for a long time, then guess what? You have your own selection of \u201cnew\u201d movies to choose from after a few months from the latest release being downgraded to the newest release at a discount. Not only do you save money, but you also have a much better chance of owning a \u201clarge selection\u201d of the latest releases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a list of things to help you decide how to choose a good movie to watch:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Selection by theme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Whether it\u2019s a boys night or a girls night, you can decide the theme. Some great girl movies include Jane Austin\u2019s \u201cBonnet Movies\u201d \u201cPride and Prejudice,\u201d \u201cEmma\u201d and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For boys, you can choose the \u201cX-Men\u201d series, James Bond or the like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Selection by Actor or Actress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Oftentimes we will sit and watch a lot of Russell Crowe or Nicole Kidman movies, you probably have some favorite actors and actresses who will help you in choosing which movies to watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Selection by Genre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are some good movies to motivate young sports players, such as Basketball, Baseball, or Grid Iron.\u00a0You may be a fan of horror films,\u00a0romantic comedies<\/a>, or action thrillers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. True Story<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

They say that nothing is weirder than real life, and when Hollywood screenwriters are looking for new ideas for film storylines, they often turn to taking historical events and making some great movies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the true story category, you still have a great selection of movies to watch about sports heroes, national heroes, and even ordinary people who have done some extraordinary things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Selection by rank<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When choosing a good movie to watch, you need to consider the audience, as this can help with your decision making. If you are choosing a film for a group of young children, then it is best to watch the film yourself first, so that you don\u2019t have any surprises that could surprise or frighten the children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Choosing Foreign Language Films<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While there are tons of great English-language films, there are also some fantastic foreign-language films worth your attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t be afraid to consider a foreign film just because it has subtitles. After the first few minutes of watching a foreign film and reading the subtitles, you are immediately drawn into the film and almost \u201cforget\u201d that you are not listening to English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Word of mouth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We never really found that personal referrals of movie titles from our friends were so helpful. Everyone has different tastes, and just because one person doesn\u2019t like a certain movie doesn\u2019t mean you won\u2019t enjoy it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is often the case with media film critics. We\u2019ve all heard stories of films that have been slammed by critics only to become box office successes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many other ways to decide how to choose a good movie to watch which includes watching movie previews or trailers, as well as watching movie review shows on TV and the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best thing about choosing a good film is that there are so many choices and so many opinions these days. As the years go by, more and more movies are released and there are still plenty of good old favorites, so sit back, relax and disappear into your own movie world, having made a selection of great movies to watch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
